HEAL YOUR MOTHER WOUNDS

When you heal your relationship with your mother, you don’t only heal your relationship with that one person. You also improve your relationship with your significant other, your friends, your children—and yourself. What we haven’t healed, we repeat. Breaking that pattern and enjoying a better life requires healing your MOTHER WOUNDS.

As a child, we saw our parents as larger-than-life figures. They were not just regular people. They were our heroes,
our bosses or our protectors. Part of healing is realizing that our parents are just that — regular people. But they grew up at a different time, came from a different generation & consciousness, maybe came from a difficult culture and upbringing.  They have strengths, weaknesses, and have their own battles they are fighting - just like you.

They’re flawed and they screw up sometimes (or a lot of the time). Most people do the best they can with the tools they have, including your parents. Flawed parents often had flawed parents of their own. Sometimes we try to correct the mistakes our parents made and end up overcorrecting. If your mother didn’t show enough kindness and love, you might show so much warmth and love to your children that they feel smothered. It can show up as some version of “undermothering” or “overmothering”.

We’ve invited Elvira V. Hopper to share her personal journey healing her mother wounds, and how this paved the way to live her best life as a Miracle Mindset CoacHealer & Founder of The Love Your Vibe Transformation.
